Most attorneys begin by listing credentials and accomplishments. While experience and education matter—and I bring more than 30 years of practice to my work—what truly shapes how I counsel clients comes from lived experience.
I have navigated many of the same transitions my clients face.
I have helped an aging parent leave a home she loved to move into assisted living—an emotionally difficult process that requires both practical planning and compassion. I have experienced divorce after a long marriage, including the complex and deeply personal work of dividing assets and redefining family dynamics, particularly when adult children are involved.
I have remarried and built a blended family, learning firsthand the thoughtful planning required to balance relationships, responsibilities, and legacy in a new family structure. I have also supported my children through the loss of their mother, and understand the care required to honor memory while helping families move forward.
I have witnessed loved ones navigate the progression of serious illness and cognitive decline, and the strain it can place on families striving to make the right decisions while preserving relationships.
These experiences, combined with decades of legal practice in real estate, estate planning, and probate, inform how I serve my clients today. I approach each matter with perspective, clarity, and respect for what is at stake—not just on paper, but in people’s lives.
As I enter the next chapter of my own life, I do so with a deep understanding that thoughtful planning, clear counsel, and steady guidance make all the difference. It is this perspective that I bring to every client relationship.
